Verification or account linking fails
Resolve Clan Labs Roblox account lookup, duplicate-link, account selection, and verification problems.
Last updatedSymptom
/verify cannot link the intended account, Clan Labs does not complete verification, or Discord reports Warning - Account not found, Warning - Already verified, or an account-binding error.
Most likely causes
- The Roblox identity cannot be resolved or was entered incorrectly.
- The Roblox account is already linked in the applicable context.
- The browser is signed into a different Discord, Clan Labs, or Roblox account.
- The verification link expired or was opened by someone else.
- Roblox or Clan Labs account services are temporarily unavailable.
Diagnostic checks
- Start a fresh
/verifyresponse and keep its link private. - Confirm the official dashboard hostname before signing in.
- Check the Discord account shown by Clan Labs.
- Review existing linked Roblox accounts before adding another.
- Open the public Roblox profile and confirm its numeric user ID.
Resolution
Use the fresh official link and authenticate the intended accounts. If Clan Labs says Already verified, select the existing linked account for this community rather than attempting to create a duplicate link. After success, run /update to apply configured roles and nickname.
Do not create another Clan Labs identity to bypass a binding error. Contact support when an existing link belongs to the wrong person.
When to retry
Retry with one fresh verification link after correcting the account or session. If account services are unavailable, wait a few minutes instead of generating many links.
Contact support
Contact Clan Labs support for an unexpected binding, a verified account you cannot select, or repeat failure with the correct public IDs.
