Customise Discord bot branding

Configure the server-specific display name and visual identity available with Clan Labs Pro.

Last updated 3 September 2026
ProCustom Bot Branding

Give Clan Labs a server-specific display name and visual identity with Clan Labs Pro while keeping the supported bot and command infrastructure.

Compare plans

Custom branding changes how the Clan Labs bot is presented for the configured Discord server. Clan Labs supports a display name of up to 32 characters plus an avatar, banner, and bio through the available branding controls.

Configure branding

  1. Select the intended community and open its bot-branding settings.
  2. Enter a concise display name that members will recognise.
  3. Upload or select the supported avatar and banner assets shown by the form.
  4. Add a short, accurate bio.
  5. Preview the identity and save.
  6. Check a fresh bot response in the connected Discord server.

Use assets that your community owns or is permitted to use. Avoid making the bot look like Discord, Roblox, Clan Labs staff, or another organisation.

Scope and limitations

Branding is server-specific. It does not create a separate bot application, change the underlying Discord permissions, or bypass Clan Labs plan and command checks. The official bot still needs to remain installed, online, and high enough in the Discord role hierarchy.

If the subscription no longer includes Pro, the Pro configuration controls can become unavailable and the supported default presentation applies according to Clan Labs’s current entitlement behaviour.

Verify the result

  • Run /help or another harmless command.
  • Confirm the displayed bot name and assets in the intended server.
  • Check that links still point to official Clan Labs destinations.
  • Test on desktop and mobile Discord, where crops can differ.

If an image is rejected, use the file type and size guidance displayed by Clan Labs. Do not embed access tokens or private information in filenames, metadata, bios, or images.

For entitlement issues, follow Subscription access is missing. For operational permissions, see Discord bot permissions.
