A Discord command is unavailable
Distinguish installation, channel, trial, tier, subscription, and deployment states for Clan Labs commands.
Last updatedSymptom
A slash command is missing from Discord, cannot be selected, or responds with Commands are disabled in this channel!, This command is not available on trial!, This feature is not included in this tier!, or This community's subscription is not active!
Most likely causes
- The Clan Labs bot or application commands are not installed in this server.
- Discord has not refreshed command registration.
- The channel is disabled in community settings.
- The plan, trial, or subscription blocks the feature.
- The command is being updated or the bot is temporarily unavailable.
Diagnostic checks
- Confirm the official bot is a member of the intended server.
- Run
/helpin an allowed channel. - Read the exact gate message rather than looking only for the command name.
- Check community channel settings, plan, trial, and subscription status.
- Look for The bot is updating. Please try that interaction again in a few seconds.
Resolution
Install or reauthorise the official bot with bot and applications.commands, use a permitted channel, restore the subscription, or select a plan that includes the feature. A staff permission change will not bypass a trial or tier gate.
When to retry
For a bot-update message, wait a few seconds and retry once. After installation or command updates, allow Discord time to refresh and reopen the client if necessary. Plan and subscription gates should only be retried after their state changes.
Contact support
Contact Clan Labs support if /help works but an entitled, configured command remains absent across Discord clients.
