Manage community members

The Members area is the working roster for your community. It brings Roblox identity, Clan Labs activity, progression, and moderation context into one place.

1. Select the correct community in the dashboard.
2. Open Members.
3. Search by the member information accepted by the search box, then select the matching result.
4. Check the Roblox profile link and user ID before changing anything. Display names are not unique.

Some people can appear through the connected Roblox community before they have linked a Discord account. Their Roblox information remains useful, but Discord-specific actions require a linked account.

A member profile collects the features enabled for the community, which can include:

• current Roblox rank and linked Discord identity;
• experience and quota progress;
• medals and qualifications;
• warnings, blacklists, and suspension status;
• relevant activity and audit history.

Controls are shown or enabled according to the community plan, trial state, your community permission level, and the member being targeted. A visible community does not automatically grant permission to manage it.

1. Open the member and choose the relevant action, such as changing experience, issuing a warning, or updating a rank.
2. Read the current value and any confirmation text.
3. Enter a clear reason when the form requests one.
4. Confirm the target and change.
5. Wait for the success message, then refresh the profile if the result depends on Roblox or Discord.
6. Review the audit log for a durable record of the change.

For rank and role changes, Clan Labs checks Roblox Open Cloud access, group configuration, staff permissions, blacklists, suspensions, and Discord role hierarchy as applicable. If a check cannot be completed safely, the change is stopped instead of being assumed successful.

The community owner can customise requirements. By default, Officers can perform common member-level actions such as warnings, experience changes, quota changes, medals, and member rank changes. Actions affecting officers or broader community configuration normally require HICOM or Owner. The Discord server owner retains SuperOwner access.

Many member workflows also have slash-command or user context-menu equivalents. For example, staff can open Apps → Update User on a Discord member, or use commands such as /profile, /warnings, /promote, and /demote. Discord actions apply the same plan, permission, subscription, and safety checks.

Keep the exact message and determine which system owns the failed step:

• Insufficient Permission points to Clan Labs community permissions.
• Missing Discord permissions or failed roles points to bot permissions and role order.
• A rank or Open Cloud error points to the connected Roblox group or API key.
• A plan, trial, or subscription message means the feature is not currently entitled.

Use Action is not permitted, Profile does not sync, or Rank change fails for the next checks.
