The Roblox community cannot be found
Resolve missing or incorrect Roblox community results in Clan Labs setup.
Last updatedSymptom
Searching during setup does not return the Roblox community, returns a similarly named community, or cannot load community details.
Most likely causes
- The name is ambiguous or was recently changed.
- The numeric Roblox community ID is incorrect.
- You are signed into the wrong Roblox account.
- Roblox community data is temporarily unavailable.
- The community is already connected or not eligible for this setup type.
Diagnostic checks
- Open the community’s official Roblox page and copy its numeric ID from the URL.
- Verify the owner shown by Roblox.
- Check which Roblox identity is linked and selected in Clan Labs.
- Search by the most precise name or ID accepted by the picker.
- Check whether the item appears as unavailable rather than missing.
Resolution
Select the result whose numeric ID matches the official Roblox page. Link or select the Roblox account that owns the main community when ownership confirmation is required. If the group is already connected, use the existing community or the supported division flow instead of duplicating it.
When to retry
Retry after correcting the account or ID. If Roblox pages or lookups are also failing, wait until Roblox recovers, then refresh the setup step.
Contact support
Contact Clan Labs support when the exact public Roblox community remains absent even though Roblox itself loads normally.
